Hall of Fame Members

Stephen Scott

Stephen Scott grew up in East Texas and after serving in the United States Air Force moved back to Longview with his wife, Romnie.  Stephen went to work for B&J Equipment in August 1993, in the warehouse.  Over the course of several years he moved to sales, management, and eventually ownership in 2000.  Before his retirement in 2023, B&J Equipment grew from five to 36 employees and was consistently recognized by Gilbarco as a top sales performer and Outstanding Distributor.  B&J Equipment provides sales and service to Texas and Arkansas, and its partner company, Titus Pump provides installation to the same area.  Stephen credits his success to strong employees, hard work, and faith.

Outside of the office, Stephen has given back to the community through serving on the board of directors at Longview Community Ministries, Newgate Mission, and volunteering through First United Methodist Church on numerous local and international mission trips.

Mike Perry

Mike Perry started working for his father Hubert Perry in 1977 at Perry & Sons, Inc. After Hubert’s retirement in 2000, Mike and his brother Todd purchased Perry & Sons from their dad. Since 2000, Mike and his team have grown Perry & Sons and now provide sales, service and installation in north Louisiana and south Arkansas. Mike credits the success both to his dad for teaching a strong work ethic and to all of Perry & Sons’ employees.

Established in 1969, Perry & Sons provides installation, sales, and service of petroleum marketing equipment for petroleum operators and facilities across Louisiana, Mississippi and South Arkansas.

Forrest Rhemann

Forrest Rhemann moved all around the country growing up as the son of an Air Force father. Despite moving around for most of his life, Forrest planted his roots in Mississippi. After he graduated college in 1977, Forrest started working for his family-owned Petroleum Equipment Company, Inc. By 1983, he began running the company and has been ever since.

Petroleum Equipment Company, Inc. covers all of Mississippi and the Southeastern states. What makes Forrest love planting roots in Ridgeland, Ms is because of how pro-business Rankin County and Ridgeland are, “Rankin County is a jewel.” In addition to running Petroleum Company, Inc., Forest also is an active community member. He serves on the Rankin First board of directors as well as received the Spirit of Ridgeland award.
